Winters Title Agency has been providing real estate services, title insurance and complete legal services to all Parishes in the State of Louisiana for over 20 years, and provides closing services in the La Place, Kenner, Metairie, Mandeville and Greater New Orleans area.

Michael E. Winters, President of Winters Title Agency, graduated from Loyola University New Orleans with a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration. He went on to earn his Juris Doctorate from Loyola Law in 1970 and then received his Master’s Degree in Tax Law from New York University in 1971.

Winters Title Agency currently employs fifteen notorial secretaries, two accountants, three marketing representatives, three couriers, five attorneys – who also serve as notaries – and eight lay notaries. Closing over 250 transactions per month, Winters Title Agency is the title agency for service and convenience, often closing after “normal” business hours and at the location that is most convenient for our clients.

Our closing notary, Stella V. Charles, has been in the business since 1970 and has been a real estate Notary since 1977. She attends continuing education classes annually and stays in contact with the attorneys from various title insurance companies to keep up with the latest changes in the real estate law. She holds a membership in the Louisiana Land Title Association, and is also an affiliate with the Mortgage Lenders Association, Saints Board of Realtors, The New Orleans Metropolitan Association of Realtors and the National Association for Professional Mortgage Women.

Winters Title Agency is an active affiliate member of the New Orleans Metropolitan Association of Realtors, Women’s Council of Realtors, National Association of Professional Mortgage Women, and the Mortgage Lenders Association. Mike Winters also leads seminars on the closing process for new real estate agents and for the Consumer Credit Counseling Service of Greater New Orleans. "Mike Winters is a member of the American Bar Association, the Louisiana State Bar Association, and the Louisiana Land Title Association.
