Benefits of Staging Your Home

  1. You Will Make More Money. U.S. Housing and Urban Development reports that the selling price of a staged home is, on average, 17% higher than a non staged home.
  2. Your Home Will Sell Faster. The average number of days on the market for a staged home is 13.9 versus 30.9 days for a non staged home.
  3. The Cost of Staging Doesn't Cost a Dime in the End. In a 2003 Home Gain Survey of 2000 realtors, it was discovered that sellers who spent up to $2,000 staging their home recovered almost 200% of their cost in the sale of their home.
  4. Studies Show That the Longer Your Home Stays on the Market, the Lower Your Selling Price Will Be. Don't settle for less and lower your price. Have your home professionally staged.
  5. Move-In Ready. Homes that appear to be well taken care of and seem to be in move-in condition are more likely to sell quickly.
  6. Competitive Edge. Leaving your home in as-is condition will only help competitors. Right now the number of homes for sale on the market is at a record high. Stack the odds in your favor. Staging your home will give you an edge over the competition.
