Country Furniture has been family owned since 1955. New owners Wayne and Maria Carter bought the business July 2014 from his parents Paul and Linda Carter who previously owned the business. Wayne and Maria are members of the Lake Arrowhead Country Club and Lake Arrowhead Commerce Committee. Wayne is the Men's Club Champion at Lake Arrowhead Country Club and has served on the Board of Directors. Maria is a member of the Lake Arrowhead Women's Group and has served on the Board of Directors as well. Maria also works alongside her daughter Meghan at Coldwell Banker as the Hardin Carter Group. They have three children; Meghan Hardin, Justin, and Mackenzie.
