Meet the Owner

Hi, my name is Melody Reem Kruckenberg and I am excited to be back in MN - and especially the Detroit Lakes area - after an extended visit (more than 30 years!) to ND. I moved here October 2010 to be closer to my family and then purchased my Budget Blinds franchise in December 2010. I didn't officially go into business until March 2011 due to illness in the family. In my previous life I was the office manager and later, the executive director of a non-profit association. I have always been interested in and have a knack for decorating and color. Budget Blinds fits the bill for fulfilling my desire to utilize the creative side of my brain!
