ABOUT THE OWNER.... 

Hello. My name is Rollie Clarkson and I am the owner of Remodeling Contractors. I have spent most of my life associated in some way with the housing industry. My family has been involved in real estate, building and developing in the Des Moines area for over 50 years. The Des Moines area has been the only home I have known and I have no intention of leaving. My family and I are involved in and committed to making our community a better place for Iowans to raise their families.  

I have been involved in the construction industry for over 25 years. Our company is a member of the National Association of HomeBuilders (NAHB) as well as the Remodelers Council. I was instrumental in the starting of the Remodelers Council here in the Des Moines area and have been an executive committee member of the council ever since. As evidence of my commitment to the remodeling industry as a professional, I have worked for and received the Certified Graduate Remodeler (CGR) accreditation. The CGR designation identifies those remodelers who demonstrate exceptional integrity, superior ability and a solid track record of success. Perhaps more important that anything else, it lets the homeowners know that I run my business in a manner that is second to none. Remodeling Contractors is a member of the Better Business Bureau (BBB) and also the National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB).  

As the owner of the company, I offer my guarantee that we will do all we can to meet the reasonable expectations of our customers. All of our staff (picture, right) shares the same ideals – the importance of quality. I am available at anytime during the project to discuss any situations that may come up.
