Peter & Jeanette Chafe opened Chafe’s Flooring & Furniture in 1986 shortly after they moved to Port Hawkesbury from Sydney, Nova Scotia. At that time it was simply called Chafe’s Carpet Sales and Service. As the flooring industry evolved, so too did Chafe’s.
