Description of a Typical Home Inspection

A typical home inspection consists of an investigative 2 to 3 hour educational tour of the home. The Inspector will use an earnest effort to disclose the important visual problems for your consideration, and will spend as much time as needed to answer your questions. Field data is gathered and taken back to the office, where the Inspector will prepare an 80 to 100 page computer generated final narrative report. The report will document each observation plus provides an "analysis or opinion statement and a recommended course of action."
